Empowering Disabled Stories

RISING TIDES, RAISING VOICES, is a part of a community-led series illuminating the experiences of Disabled individuals in the global south and their experiences with the outsized impacts of Climate Change on those who are often left out.

This project was my first exploration of creating and rigging a variety of disabled bodies through collage-style animation. With a unique collaborative process - connecting with subjects in remote rural areas for input and approval - this project let me bring my voice to the approach for environments and emotionally intense scenes.
