Born in São Paulo state Brazil, Adriano (he/el/ele/they) is a Paulista who proudly embraces the "gambiarra" spirit of alternative engineering and creative workaround. Renown as “a dab hand at just about everything,” Botega shines making things work in high stakes situations. He’ll even wire the electric, build the computer, and write the software before he really gets started.

Adriano’s international and acclaimed work — spanning commercial, narrative, documentary, immersive, gaming, and experimental — is at it’s best when in service of diverse creative teams and bold new ideas. Whether a VFX Artist, Technical Director, or Motion Designer, they thrive both guiding and supporting others at any stage of the pipeline.

At play, you can find them cackling at their favorite content creators, swearing in Portuguese while gaming with old friends, and making MTG decks and proxies. Offline, you can find him with his ambulance — a self-converted studio-on-wheels — where he enjoys diesel mechanics, shooting astral photography from the roof, and taking his wife out for DnD and walks in the woods.
